About Me

Designing intuitive systems at the intersection of AI, hardware, and workflows. Currently pursuing HCI master’s degree at UMD.

My Journey

Social Design

I came to design through the lens of sociology. My journey began with a social design course at NTU, where I researched and built an interactive game addressing the stigma faced by Taiwanese hostesses.

Product Designer in Robotics Industry

Led end-to-end design for a low-code workflow editor and multimodal service robots, used by clients in commercial, healthcare, and education settings. I kept noticing a gap between what users expected from the AI and what it could actually do: they couldn't tell why the robot was slow to respond, or why it couldn't handle requests that seemed simple to them.

Human-Computer Interaction

At UMD, I am studying how people make sense of AI-infused systems: how they form expectations of what AI can do, and how designers and builders navigate those gaps as they prototype with AI. My interests span CSCW, sense-making, and technologies that support human agency.

Experience

Product Designer

NUWA Robotics • 2024 - June 2026

• Redesigned the low-code workflow editor, Roflow, a service-robot platform, serving clients across 7+ countries and industries such as retail, healthcare, hospital.

• Led multimodal interaction research (voice, touch, screen) and translated findings into design principles adopted by the product team

• Designed across web, mobile, LLM-powered dialogue systems, and robot hardware, aligning solutions with engineering and hardware constraints.

Product Design Intern

NUWA Robotics • 2023 - 2024

Beyond Design

Product Building

I vibe-code workflow tools and learning products for myself — turning ideas into working software.

Bouldering

One of my favorite ways to sharpen my problem-solving mindset is figuring out a beta on the climbing wall.

Photography

Passionate about street and portrait photography. Enjoys exploring landscapes, light, and human connection.
